Hagerstown Model Railroad Museum's Annual Trainfest Sells Antique Collectibles

The Washington County Agricultural Center hosted the 2013 Trainfest, aimed for those who enjoy architecture and the mechanics of the railroad and its history.
HAGERSTOWN, Md. - Just when you think collectibles are only for children, the Washington County Agricultural Center saw a different crowd.

The Hagerstown Model Railroad Museum hosted its Trainfest that is held three times a year. People of all ages were invited to browse collections of model trains, railroads, and souvenirs.

The money from the event is used to restore old train stations. The products being sold were bought from hobby shops.

There will be an open house event on December 29, 2013 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
