I-70 Reopens After Tractor Trailer Accident

Portions of I-70 east in Frederick County are now open after a crash Friday morning involving a car and a tractor trailer.

FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. - Portions of I-70 east in Frederick County are now open after a crash Friday morning involving a car and a tractor trailer. 

It happened around 10:30 a.m. at mile marker 41 right before the Myersville exit. 

Emergency responders were on scene cleaning up diesel fuel that was spilled. All lanes reopened around 2 p.m. Friday. 

Dispatchers in Frederick County say that one person was transported to Baltimore Shock Trauma for treatment. Officials say the driver of the tractor trailer was not hurt.
