I-70 Reopens After Truck Over Turns on Interstate

Traffic was backed up for miles Friday morning in Boonsboro after a dump truck over turned on to the interstate.
BOONSBORO, Md. - Traffic was backed up for miles Friday morning in Boonsboro after police say a dump truck over turned on to the interstate. 

It happened on I-70 eastbound at Route 66. 

Witnesses say the truck was stuck on its side, and vehicles had to drive on the shoulder to get around the scene. 

Washington County Dispatch says the truck is damaged, but the driver was not hurt. 

At this point, we don't know how the truck tipped over. 

Officials say the roads are clear now, but drivers can expect some lingering traffic.
