I-81 Northbound Reopens after Five Vehicle Crash

At least two people were taken to area hospitals for treatment. West Virginia State Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - We have new updates on a serious crash that involved five vehicles on Interstate-81 northbound Tuesday morning.

It happened just after 5:30 a.m. near exit 14; near the exit for Dry Run Road in Martinsburg.

At least two people were taken to Berkeley Medical Center to be treated for their injuries.

West Virginia State Police are handling the investigation into the cause of the crash.

After being shut down for close to an hour and a half, northbound lanes have reopened.
