A Franklin County man accused of killing at least two women has been deemed competent to stand trial.

FRANKLIN COUNTY, PA - A Franklin County man accused of killing at least two women has been deemed competent to stand trial.

Jeffrey Miles of State Line, Penn., has undergone a psychiatric evaluation.

Prosecutors say he has been cleared as mentally competent to stand trial.

Miles is accused of murdering Kristy Hoke of Hagerstown, and dumping her body in a wooded area in Pennsylvania.

He's also suspected of killing 17-year-old Angie Daley back in 1995. Police had been waiting for the results of the psychiatric evaluation before taking any further action in the case.

Authorities in the area have been going through their cold case files to see if Miles may be a suspect in other murders.

He is expected to make a court appearance on July 22nd.
