Juveniles Questioned in String of Vandalism in Front Royal

Chief Norman Shiflett said his department received eight separate reports of vandalism on Wednesday, December 4, 2013. Through the investigation police were able to determine two local juveniles were responsible for the vandalism.
FRONT ROYAL, Va. - Officers with the Front Royal Police Department say they've been busy investigating a rash of vandalism in the town. 

Chief Norman Shiflett said his department received eight separate reports of vandalism on Wednesday, December 4, 2013. Through the investigation police were able to determine two local juveniles were responsible for the vandalism. 

Officers say the two males, who are 14 and 16-years-old, defaced three vehicles owned by Warren County Parks and Recreation, storage sheds at Helmuth Builders, and several walls at Bing Crosby Stadium with black spray paint. 

Officer Kevin Orndorff was able to develop leads, and interview the two juveniles about their involvement. Officer Orndorff also obtained seven juvenile petitions on each of the young teens. A court date is pending.
