Large Drug Bust During Routine Traffic Stop

During the stop officers found 50 bags of crack cocaine and marijuana. Vicodin was also found in the vehicle.
FREDERICK, Md. - Police say a routine traffic stop turned into a drug bust in Frederick late Wednesday night. 

According to Frederick City Police, Burt Tanner was pulled over near Burk Street and Sherman Avenue. 

During the traffic stop, officers say they smelled marijuana coming from the car. When police searched Tanner they found 50 bags of crack cocaine and marijuana on him and Vicodin inside the vehicle. 

Tanner is currently being held at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center on drug possession charges and intent to distribute cocaine.
