Lawmakers Gathered at Four-State Conference

Bipartisan legislators from Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia were talking about how they can work together on issues like transportation, gas taxes and infrastructure improvements.
WHAG NEWS- Local Lawmakers gathered in Waynesboro on Wednesday to talk about some of the issues facing the area.

Bipartisan legislators from Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia were talking about how they can work together on issues like transportation, gas taxes and infrastructure improvements.

"The biggest issue today was transportation and what we did today is decided to jointly write a letter to our federal government Congressman Shuster and Senator Mikulski asking them to consider us for federal funding for Interstate-81," said Todd Rock, state representative.

Organizers say this meeting builds good relationships between legislators and they are hoping to move forward on the important issues.
