Man Allegedly Spends Hundreds in Counterfeit Cash

Police say the incident happened around 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6 at the Belk Department Store on 1850 Apple Blossom Drive. An employee reported to police that they received 30 counterfeit $20 bills from a customer.
WINCHESTER, Va. - Officers with the Winchester Police Department are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who's wanted for passing counterfeit money at a store at the Apple Blossom Mall. 

Police say the incident happened around 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6 at the Belk Department Store on 1850 Apple Blossom Drive. An employee reported to police that they received 30 counterfeit $20 bills from a customer. 

The suspect is described as a white man, between 30 to 40-years-old, with brown hair, wearing blue jeans and a tan shirt. 

Anyone with information on the suspect or his whereabouts is asked to call Crime Solvers at (540)-665-8477.
