Man Breaks in to Local Berkeley County Business

The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning at the Indian Sun and Silver on Winchester Avenue. Surveillance video shows a man entering the store by prying open a side door with a large screwdriver.
BERKELEY COUNTY, W.Va. - The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a man, who they say robbed a local business over the weekend.

The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning at the Indian Sun and Silver on Winchester Avenue. Surveillance video shows a man entering the store by prying open a side door with a large screwdriver.

Police say although the alarm did sound inside the business, the man was able to break into one of the cash registers, remove money and was in and out of the store in less than a minute. 

The suspect is described as a white male, with some facial hair, wearing a light colored beanie-style hat. He also had on a black or brown leather jacket and white gloves.
