Man Brings Six Year Walk Across the Country to Hagerstown

Armand Young brought his six year walk across the country to Hagerstown, Maryland.
HAGERSTOWN, MD- Armand Young brought his six year walk across the country to Hagerstown, Maryland.

Young started his walk in California back in 2007 and walked all the way to New York and now plans to head back to California. During his walk Young helps to get houses for homeless families and has a pole where people can sign in exchange for the promise of a good deed within the next 24 hours.

In all Young has found more than 400 houses for families and 544,000 signatures.

"Twenty-five years ago I was an ex-con. I did more drugs than anybody I know. I turned my life around and I want to show other people that no matter who you are or what you've done, you can make a change," said Young.

Young's goal is to find one-million homes for families in need.
