HAGERSTOWN, Md - A man who was charged in connection to an April 2013 gang shooting appeared this week in court.
According to court records, Pernell Ricks IV posted bond Wednesday morning. Investigators say during the April incident he was found in possession of a handgun following the shooting, however police say it was not the specific weapon used in the shooting. In fact, police they the handgun was actually an air pistol.
If convicted, Ricks could face six months in jail and a $1,000 fine.
The April 2013 shooting on Jonathan Street in Hagerstown injured two people and indicted 16 in the fight.
Ricks is scheduled for a jury trial on
