FREDERICK, Md. – A Frederick County man who is already in custody in Hagerstown is facing additional charges in connecting to a church burglary in Frederick.

Timothy Ayres is accused of breaking into the Frederick City Church in October of 2012. During that break-in he is accused of stealing money.

Police say they recovered fingerprints earlier this month that connected Ayers to that burglary.

Ayres is currently in the Maryland Correctional Training center after being convicted of two other robberies, including one church.
