Motorcycle Accident Kills Driver, Injures Passenger

Police say the driver was going southbound on Route 550, lost control around a curve, and then the driver and a female passenger were ejected from the motorcycle.
SABILLASVILLE, Md. - Maryland State Police Frederick Barrack have released the name of the person who died Sunday afternoon in a motorcycle accident in Frederick County. 

Police say Christopher Stabile, 37, of Olney, Md., was ejected from his motorcycle after he lost control around a curve going southbound on Route 550.

SABILLASVILLE, Md.
- A motorcycle accident claimed the life of one person and seriously injured another person Sunday afternoon in Frederick County, Maryland.

Maryland State Police say it happened around 12:30 p.m. along Route 550, just north of Kelbaugh Road, in Sabillasville.

Police say the driver was going southbound on Route 550, lost control around a curve, and then the driver and a female passenger were ejected from the motorcycle.

Troopers pronounced the driver dead at the scene.

The female passenger was taken to Meritus Hospital in Washington County.

The names will not be released until the victims' family are notified.
