National Average for Gas Lowest Since Dec. 2011

AAA has forecasted the average could drop to $3.10 by the end of the year.
WHAG NEWS - Some good news for drivers out there. The price of gasoline is the lowest its been in nearly two years. 

The nationwide average for gas is currently $3.21 a gallon. The price has not been that low since December of 2011. 

Five states; Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas have averages below $3 a gallon. Officials say a relatively calm hurricane season has meant no major storm-related disruptions at large oil refineries. 

AAA has forecasted the average could drop to $3.10 by the end of the year.
