New Urgent Care Center Opens in Berkeley County

Physicians gathered at a ribbon cutting Wednesday afternoon to celebrate the official opening of the Inwood Medical and West Virginia University Urgent Care Center.
BERKELEY COUNTY, W.Va. - A New Urgent Care Center is available to residents in the Berkeley County area.

Physicians gathered at a ribbon cutting Wednesday afternoon to celebrate the official opening of the Inwood Medical and West Virginia University Urgent Care Center. With sleep, physical rehabilitation and neurology centers already on location, the urgent care center will offer Berkeley County residents immediate attention.

The state of the art facility works in conjunction with West Virginia University Hospital and can easily share and access a patient's medical history through both locations, saving patients time and energy.

It is the only urgent care center staffed by physicians who are also faculty at the West Virginia School of Medicine.

"The physicians and our staff enable us to recruit, we think, the best physicians for this type of service," said Dr. Konrad C. Nau, CEO.

The Urgent Care Center offers walk-in services and is open seven days a week.
