Drug Manufacturing Equipment Found, Two Arrested

Two people are arrested after police say they found an unknown substance and equipment to manufacture drugs.
HAGERSTOWN, Md. - Hagerstown Police say two people are facing charges after a routine traffic stop Saturday.

Trenton Tyler Farnsworth and Dustin Lee Watson of West Virginia are charged with possession of CDS equipment. Police say that equipment is consistent with manufacturing methamphetamines. 

Officers say a K-9 assisted on the scene and found an unknown substance in the vehicle. Officers called for hazmat crews, closing off East Franklin Street at Locust Street for about an hour Saturday afternoon.  

Police say the substance was removed safely and secured for further analysis.
