One Person Killed After Being Hit By Two Cars in Hagerstown

It happened around 6:15 p.m. Sunday Evening at the intersection of East Magnolia Avenue and Hollymead Terrace.
HAGERSTOWN, Md. - Police have now released the identity of the woman who was killed in a car accident in Hagerstown over the weekend. 

It happened around 6:15 p.m. Sunday evening at the intersection of East Magnolia Avenue and Hollymead Terrace, where a Nissan Versa struck Judith Greenwald, 49, who was walking in the travel portion of the road.

After being struck, the woman fell into the other lane of traffic and was struck by a second vehicle. 

Police say the woman was taken to Meritus Medical Center where she was pronounced dead. Her body is being sent to the Medical Examiner's office in Baltimore for an autopsy, and the Washington County Sheriff's Department is continuing their investigation.
