Pickin in the Panhandle Begins

"You are seeing some of the finest bluegrass and country music talent that this nation has to offer as well as the finest talent in the quad state area," said Greg Shiley, Organizer of Pickin in the Panhandle.
INWOOD, W.Va. - Country and Bluegrass music is in the air in the Eastern Panhandle. 

Pickin in the Panhandle began on Friday at Shiley Acres in Berkeley County. Fans were already filling in by the hundreds, watching some of the best country and bluegrass musicians in the music industry. The musical acts are going on from now until Sunday. Acts include the Davisson brothers and Marty Raybon. Music fans and performers say they're excited to be a part of this fun filled weekend event.

"We are very pleased to have them here. We are very grateful that they came, helping us and supporting us with this show."

Former American Idol contestant Kellie Pickler is also headlining the events this weekend.
