Maryland State Police say charges are pending against three Baltimore men who robbed two Pizza hut employees at gun-point.
LAVALE, MD- Maryland State Police say charges are pending against three Baltimore individuals who robbed two Pizza hut employees at gun-point.

It happened Thursday around 11 p.m. at 1266 of W. National Highway in LaVale.

State Police say the two employees were closing up the restaurant when they were approached by three subjects in the parking lot. They say one of subjects pointed a handgun at the victims and ordered them to the ground. Both of the victims were able to escape and notify police.

Investigators say they obtained video footage from local hotel surveillance cameras to make photos that the victims used to identify the suspects. They say those photos were then shared with local businesses which led to further information that the suspects had stayed at another hotel.

An employee at the local hotel told investigators the suspects requested a cab for transportation to Baltimore.

Maryland State Police say a state-wide lookout was issued and the culprits were found inside a taxi and taken into custody along I-70 in Hagerstown. C3I investigators conducted interviews on the suspects. They were identified as Shanequa Douglass, Christopher Anderson and Angel Bright.

The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
