Police: Armed Bank Robbery in Greene Township, No One in Custody

Police say three men walked into the branch at 2:47 p.m. on Tuesday and demanded money while showing a handgun.
GREENE TOWNSHIP, PA - State Police in Franklin County say three men robbed the First National Bank of Mercersburg at 3141 Black Gap Road.

Police say three men walked into the branch at 2:47 p.m. on Tuesday and demanded money while showing a handgun.

The suspects have been described as a black man, with heavy a build, who was wearing tan pants, a blue long sleeve shirt and a dark bandanna.

The second suspect was a white man with a medium build. Police say the second suspect was wearing blue jeans, a sweatshirt and a baseball hat.

The third suspect was a thin white man, wearing brown pants, a black long sleeve shirt, sunglasses and a fedora hat.

Police say the suspects ran away from the location and the amount of money that was stolen has not been disclosed.
