Police Investigate Armed Robbery at Dry Cleaners

Police say a man pointed a handgun at an employee and demanded money.
HAGERSTOWN, Md. - Authorities are looking for the man who they say held up a dry cleaning store Saturday morning.

It happened just before 9:30 a.m. at Stone House Cleaners along the 12000 block of Shank Farm Road.

According to the Hagerstown Police Department, a man pointed a handgun at an employee and demanded money.

Police say the man took off with some cash and ran away on foot into an apartment complex on Little Elliot Drive.

Police say a K-9 unit led officers to the complex, where they found some evidence.

The suspect is described as a black male, between 5'9" and 6'0" tall, and weighing about 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing gray pants and a gray hooded shirt.

Anyone with information on this armed robbery is asked to call the Hagerstown Police Department right away.
