Police Investigate Greencastle Hit and Run Incident

Pennsylvania State Police say a piece of fence flew into a window of a home off Buchanan Trail East when the incident occurred.

GREENCASTLE, Pa.- Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a hit and run incident that happened Thursday on the 2000 block of Buchanan Trail East. 

Authorities say a car veered off the right side of the road and hit a steel fence. A piece of that fence flew into the window of a residence, causing glass to fall on someone who was sleeping in the home.

Police say no one was injured, but they are still looking for the person who drove away from the scene.

The vehicle is described as a dark-colored, mid-sized car. Police say it should have damage at the front and a flat tire on the right side.
