Police Investigate Robbery at Regal Westview Stadium

Investigators say the man approached a theater booth and handed the clerk a note, demanding money and indicating he had a gun.
FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. - Officials with the Frederick County Bureau of Investigation are looking for a man who they say robbed a local cinema on Friday. 

It happened around 5 p.m. on Friday, December 13 at the Regal Westview Stadium 16 on Buckeystown Pike. 

Investigators say the man approached a theater booth and handed the clerk a note, demanding money and indicating he had a gun. They say the man never displayed a weapon, but kept his hand in his pocket insinuating he had one. 

The man was able to flee the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. 

Deputies with the Frederick County Sheriff's Office canvassed the area with the assistance of Trooper 3 with Maryland State Police Aviation. The suspect was not found. 

Police say the suspect is described as a white male, in his 20's, 5'10" in height, slim build with a goatee. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt pulled up over his head, black pants and a black coat.
