Police Investigate Shippensburg Armed Robbery

He came in and said, ‘Nobody call the police, or I’ll shoot.’ Then he pulled out the handgun,” said George Panagos, owner.
SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Pennsylvania State Police responded to an armed robbery Saturday night at Diffy's Restaurant on Molly Pitcher Highway in Franklin County.

According to the owners of Diffy's, Charlie and George Panagos, the robber entered the restaurant with a gun.

“He came in and said, ‘Nobody call the police, or I’ll shoot.’ Then he pulled out the handgun,” said George Panagos.

The owners say the suspect gave orders to one of the servers, with the gun to her head, to hand over an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register.

Owners said there were five people inside at the time, but nobody was hurt, and they said they’ve never had anything like this happen before.

They said the suspect was completely covered up, wearing a black ski mask, ski goggles, a black hooded sweatshirt, gloves and jeans and the person was about six feet tall.

Anyone with information should contact police at (717)-264-5161.
