Police Seaching for Two Armed Men in Boonsboro Home Invasion

Maryland State Police are asking for the public's help in identifying two men involved in a home invasion and armed robbery.
WASHINGTON COUNTY, Md. - Maryland State Police are asking for the public's help in identifying two men involved in a home invasion and armed robbery in Boonsboro.

It happened on the 7500 Block of Sharpsburg Pike in the area of Agricultural Center just before 1 a.m. Tuesday.

State Police say two masked men entered the home while a husband and wife were sleeping. They say the homeowners were awakened and held captive while the suspects searched for money, valuables and prescription medication. 

Police say the two men escaped with an undisclosed amount of money. The two homeowners were not hurt in the incident. 

Police say the first suspect is described as male between 5'4" and 5'9", about 140 pounds. The second suspect is a male between 5'8" and 5'11" and 150 pounds.
