Police Search for Man in SunTrust Bank Robbery

It happened just before 3 p.m. on 2 N. Market Street. Staff at the bank reported that a man walked in, passed a note to the teller and demanded money.
FREDERICK, Md. - Officers with the Frederick City Police Department are searching for a man who they say robbed a local bank Wednesday afternoon. 

It happened just before 3 p.m. on 2 N. Market Street. Staff at the bank reported that a man walked in, passed a note to the teller and demanded money. 

The man was able to flee the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. 

Police say the suspect is described at a white male with a beard, about 25-30 years old, about 6'0" tall with a heavy build. He was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, gray pants, a Dallas Cowboys skull cap, white sneakers and a black backpack.
