Rory McIlroy and Justin Rose Address the Media

The defending PGA champion and this years US Open champ spoke to the media Wednesday afternoon
On Wednesday afternoon the second wave of high profile PGA pros made their way through the interview room at Oak Hill. Rory McIlroy and Justin Rose were the biggest names to speak, and they had a lot to say about their own situations, along with the course and tournament surroundings.

Rory McIlroy was asked a lot about his struggles this year and how he is feeling coming into this week. McIlroy said that he feels the most comfortable this week as he has all year. McIlroy believes that the course will play hard, but if the wind is in your favor he thinks that the finishing stretch of 16-18 can be attackable.

Justin Rose played the week after he won the US Open in June, and then took four weeks off before the British Open. He says that he is emotionally over winning the US Open, and is read to compete for the PGA Championship this week. He initially thought that Oak Hill was a driving course, but after three practice rounds he thinks that driver will not be the best play on every hole.
