Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued for Most of 4 State Region

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 8 p.m. this evening. The main threat from any strong storms that do develop is damaging wind gusts.
HAGERSTOWN, MD - The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for most of the 4 State viewing area until 8 p.m. this evening.

A strong  line of thunderstorms is currently moving eastward into the region and will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts in excess of 70 MPH through Sunday evening. Be alert for any warnings that may be issued during the rest of the afternoon and evening.
