Shenandoah University Students Vote Through U-Vote Program

At Shenandoah University students are not only registering for classes, they're also registering to vote.
WINCHESTER, Va.- College students are heading back to school this week.

At Shenandoah University, they're not only registering for classes, students are also registering to vote.

All the students get ipads and Macbooks to start the year off as they check into the campus.

New students get the chance to register to vote through the U-Vote Campaign.

"Last year was the first year we had implemented it here, and we registered 94 percent of our new students which I was really thrilled about that," said Cody Wiley, U-Vote Chairman.

It's the second year the University has offered the U-Vote program.
