Shots Fired in Frederick, Police Search for Man

It happened around 3:19 p.m. in the 500 block of E. South Street to the rear of the Lucas Village Community.
FREDERICK, Md. - Officers with the Frederick Police Department are investigating after they received several calls regarding gun shots in the area of E. South Street Monday afternoon. 

It happened around 3:19 p.m. in the 500 block of E. South Street to the rear of the Lucas Village Community. Responding officers and detectives say they talked with several witnesses on scene who confirmed shots in the area. 

Witnesses described seeing a man running from the area immediately following gun shots. 

Officers say the suspect is described as a black male, about 6' tall, around 30-years-old, wearing a blue hooded coat and a winter hat.
