South Fork Bridge Delays to Take Longer Than Expected

After closer inspection, officials say it was determined the patching for the South Fork Bridge will take longer than expected.

WARREN COUNTY, Va. - After closer inspection, officials say it was determined that the patching for the South Fork Bridge will take longer than expected. 

It has now been scheduled to take about two weeks. The patching began on Monday, December 30, 2013. Officials the Virginia Department of Transportation say drivers are reminded to use extreme caution in this area. 

Landford Brothers has been contracted by VDOT to perform the work. The actual time of day the work is to be scheduled is not known at this time, only that it will be at night.
