There were more than 200 exhibitors at the annual business connection and ribbon cutting event. Local experts presented sessions about various workplace scenarios like how to keep a healthy workspace, handling stress and being a creative and innovative employee.
"All kinds of interactive, educational seminars that go on every hour you can't help but learn something and meet some new people that can help you and your business," said Ric Adams, President of the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce.
Local officials say it's an opportunity for the community to see what
"It's important because sometimes people just don't know what businesses do so these displays allow them the opportunity to say what they do, to interact with people and see how they can help each other," said Adams.
This is one of the county's largest business trade shows bringing local and state officials like Mayor Randy McClement and Congressman Chris Van Hollen to show their support.
