Three Taken to Hospital in Crash by Hagerstown Outlets

It happened around 5 p.m. on the 14000 block, near Sharpsburg Pike, down near the entrance to Hagerstown Premium Outlets.
HAGERSTOWN, Md. - Washington County Dispatch says the southbound side of S Potomac Street at Oak Ridge Drive was shut down for about an hour due to a two-vehicle accident Tuesday evening. 

It happened around 5 p.m. on the 14000 block, near Sharpsburg Pike, down near the entrance to Hagerstown Premium Outlets. 

Maryland State Police responded to the scene. 

We're hearing one of the drivers was wedged under the steering wheel, but injuries were minor. Three people were taken to area hospitals, the two drivers and one passenger. 

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
