Trial Delayed for Man Charged in Franklin County Murder

The trial for a Franklin County man who is charged with murdering two women, has been delayed again.
FRANKLIN COUNTY, PA- The trial for a Franklin County man who is charged with murdering two women, has been delayed again.

Court officials say Jeffrey Miles, 50, was scheduled to stand trial on August 5 for the stabbing death of Kristy Hoke, 29, of Hagerstown.

Officials say due to a legal technicality the trial is now being pushed back until September. The prosecuting attorney is currently seeking the death penalty against Miles in the Hoke case.

Last year, Miles was also charged in the 1995 death of Angie Daley, a Waynesboro teen who had been missing for more that 20 years.

Prosecutors say Miles admitted to beating her to death and then dumping her body off of Route 16.
