The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office announced Thursday they've made two arrests in connection to the MVB Bank Robbery that happened last month.
CHARLES TOWN, WV- The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office announced Thursday they've made two arrests in connection to the MVB Bank Robbery that happened on Thursday, July 25.

Deputies say Nicholas Humerick, of Thurmont, Md., who was the getaway driver, was taken into custody on Monday in Thurmont. They say Humerick is currently being held at the Frederick County Detention Center, awaiting extradition to West Virginia.

Deputies say the robber, Dean Aubol III, who lives in Thurmont, was arrested Wednesday night in Broward County, Flordia, after he hijacked a car and led police on a short chase down I-95. They say Aubol bailed out of the stolen car and ran into a nearby apartment complex where police found him and arrested him after a short search.

The investigation was a combined effort with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, the Thurmont City Police, and the Marshall Service.

Deputies with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office say it's unclear how soon Aubol will be returned to West Virginia to stand trial.
