Two Men Arrested in Several Car Break-Ins

Deputies with the Washington County Sheriff's Office say the two men were spotted in the area of Leitersburg Pike and Marsh Pike area.
WASHINGTON COUNTY, Md. - Deputies with the Washington County Sheriff's Office arrested two Hagerstown men after they say the two broke in to several vehicles during the early morning hours on Sunday and stole several items. 

Deputies say they spotted Tyler Wayne Moats, 18, and Dustin Charles Hutzell, 20, around 2:30 a.m. in the area of Leitersburg Pike and Marsh Pike. They say the two were acting in a suspicious manner. 

Deputies say while talking with the two men, they realized they were riding on stolen bicycles and had several stolen electronic devices in their possession.

Moats is charged with one count of rogue and vagabond, one count of theft less than $1,000 and one count of conspiracy to commit theft less than $1,000. Hitzell is charged with two counts of theft less than $1,000, one count of malicious destruction of property under $500 one count of rogue and vagabond and one count of conspiracy to commit theft less than $1,000.

Deputies say Moats was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond and Hutzell was released on a $7,500 unsecured bond.
