WINCHESTER, Va. - Winchester Police say two men are facing grand larceny charges after they led police on a chase through the downtown area in a stolen vehicle.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. Thursday, when an officer tried to pull over a car in the area of Whitlock Avenue and Braddock Street after the driver ran two stop signs.

Officers say the suspect did not stop, making turns onto a number of streets in the downtown area until the driver eventually hit a parked car, then attempted to run from the scene.

The driver, Randolph Largent and passenger Robert Boyer, were both taken into custody. Largent is charged with grand larceny, felony, evading police, hit and run, driving without a license and obstruction of justice.

Boyer is charged with grand larceny. Both are being held at the Northwestern Regional Adult Detention Center.
