Update: Hagerstown Police Make Arrest in Dual Highway Shooting

Hagerstown Police have charged a Hagerstown man with attempted murder after they say he deliberately shot at a woman along the Dual Highway Tuesday afternoon.
HAGERSTOWN, MD- Hagerstown Police have arrested a 23 year-old Hagerstown man following a drive-by shooting that happened Tuesday afternoon along the Dual Highway.

Police say the shooting happened near the intersection of Dual Highway and Edgewood Drive. The car that was hit by at least one gunshot made a u-turn and drove directly to the police station. 

Officers have charged Andrew Campos with attempted murder, as well as assault and weapons charges.  They said he shot at a woman he had gotten into an argument with at the Clarion Hotel.

After the argument, investigators said Campos followed the woman, who had left, and then shot at her while he was in a red SUV.

Police said nobody was injured during the incident.
