UPDATE: Human Remains Found

Officials said the medical examiners office has determined the human remains found Thursday near the Shenandoah River are those of a Hispanic male.

Harpers Ferry, Jefferson County, WVa (WHAG) - Officials said the medical examiners office has determined the human remains found Thursday near the Shenandoah River are those of a Hispanic male.

They said the man was wearing a sweatshirt with the words "Kino Wrestling" on it, and believe a single, size-10 boot belonged to the man, which was also found in the area.

Officials believe the man either died of natural causes in the area, or the body was dumped there. They said he may have been from Arizona.

Officials said they'll continue to look for details surrounding the case, but ask anyone with information should contact the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
