Winchester Man Arrested in Multiple Jewelry Thefts

Officers with the Winchester Police Department say a man who was wanted throughout the area on theft charges has been taken into custody.
WINCHESTER, Va. - Officers with the Winchester Police Department say a man who was wanted throughout the area on theft charges has been taken into custody.

Brian Pelczynski, 28, of Winchester, was arrested in Loudoun County just before noon on Friday after police received multiple tips from released surveillance photos. 

Pelczynski is charged with two counts of felony grand larceny and one count of petty larceny. As we've reported, Pelczynski stole several pieces of jewelry on three different occasions from the Walmart on South Pleasant Valley Road in October. 

He's currently being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center. 

The Winchester Police Department would like to thank the public for providing information that led to an arrest.
