Woman Wanted in Grocery Store Theft

The Frederick County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding a woman who stole food from a local grocery store.
FREDERICK, Md. - The Frederick County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding a woman who stole food from a local grocery store. 

It happened just after 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 10 at the Giant Food Store on Sugarloaf Parkway in Frederick. 

Deputies say a store employee saw the woman enter the store and proceed to the meat department where she filled reusable shopping bags with various meats, including steaks and hamburger. 

The woman left the store without paying for about $500 worth of various meats, according to deputies.
