MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – A Martinsburg man won $1 million after matching five numbers in last Saturday’s Powerball drawing.

Harry Seal accepted his check in Charleston Thursday.

Seal is the 58th person to win or share a prize of more than $1 million playing the West Virginia Lottery.

Seal purchased the ticket at a Citgo station on Route 9 in Martinsburg. He is currently employed at Eagle Auto Parts in Martinsburg and says he will continue to work. He plans on using the money to pay bills, make house repairs and take care of his family.

“I don’t think [the money] will change out lifestyle too much,” Seal said. “We’re going to help our children and our grandchildren so long as they are willing to help themselves. If they’re not willing to help themselves, they need to come see us. That’s the way I put it to them the other night and that’s the way it’s going to be,” he continued.

The Citgo station where seal purchased the ticket will receive a 1% commission for the winning ticket.
