BERKELEY COUNTY, W.Va. - The U.S. Marshal's Service's Mountain State Fugitive Task Force is asking for the public's help in locating a fugitive who's wanted on drug charges.

Officials say Maurice Hough, 28, of Berkeley County, W.Va., is wanted by the West Virginia State Police for failing to appear in court on charges on possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, stemming from an arrest where Hough was charged with attempted murder in 2012.

Hough is also wanted by the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office for failing to appear in court on charges for distribution of drugs.

Police believe Hough was living on Matthew Court in Inwood, W.Va. and also has associates and family in Charles Town and Ranson.

Hough is described as 6'0" tall, about 180 lbs, with brown eyes and black hair.

If anyone has information regarding Hough's whereabouts, they're asked to call the U.S. Marshals Services' Mountain State Fugitive Task Force at (304)-267-7179. Addition information can be found here
