4 State - Good Monday evening, everyone! I hope you were able to enjoy the weekend. While we were rocked by some fast-moving and intense thunderstorms today, it did at least help knock the temperatures back by a decent bit. Dew points, however, will remain high through the evening, so it will still likely be a bit muggy tonight. High pressure will build eastward tomorrow and Wednesday, giving us back-to-back sunny and pleasant days throughout the region. Unfortunately, heat and humidity return by Thursday. We’ll also run the risk for pop-up showers and thunderstorms from Friday through the upcoming weekend. An approaching cold front will be the trigger for this chance at additional rainfall in the region…and this front may not be able to clear the region until Sunday afternoon. High pressure looks to return by next Monday.
