Adam's 4 State Forecast for 06.20.17

Pleasant weather returns into Wednesday, but storms move in this weekend.

4 State - Good Monday evening, everyone! I hope you were able to enjoy the weekend. While we were rocked by some fast-moving and intense thunderstorms today, it did at least help knock the temperatures back by a decent bit. Dew points, however, will remain high through the evening, so it will still likely be a bit muggy tonight. High pressure will build eastward tomorrow and Wednesday, giving us back-to-back sunny and pleasant days throughout the region. Unfortunately, heat and humidity return by Thursday. We’ll also run the risk for pop-up showers and thunderstorms from Friday through the upcoming weekend. An approaching cold front will be the trigger for this chance at additional rainfall in the region…and this front may not be able to clear the region until Sunday afternoon. High pressure looks to return by next Monday.

Here’s a look at your extended forecast:

Tonight: Partly cloudy. Lows: 60-65. Southwest winds at 5 to 10 mph.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny. Highs: 81-86. West winds at around 10 mph.

Wednesday: Partly to mostly sunny. Highs in the low 80’s.

Thursday: Partly to mostly sunny with a chance of an isolated shower or storm. Highs in the upper 80’s to low 90’s.

Friday: Partly to mostly cloudy with a chance of thunderstorms. Highs in the upper 80’s.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the upper 80’s.

Sunday: Partly to mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the mid 80’s.

Monday: Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 70’s.

Have a great evening!
