YOUR4STATE - Good evening everyone. It was another humid day across the region, and that will continue for the next few days as a cold front approaches. Though it may bring the humidity down just a notch, it however doesn't drop our temperatures below average.
However this cold front could bring showers and thunderstorms Sunday into Monday, some of which will be severe with the potential of strong winds, hail, cloud to ground lightning, and potential for localized flooding, as seen in many of these thunderstorms have seen the past few days.
There is a marginal to slight risk of severe weather on Sunday for the western half of the region, I-81 westward. This means we could see a few to several thunderstorms turn severe.
Sunday, however, most of the area is under a slight risk with a enhanced risk in the D.C.-Baltimore metroplex. This means several to numerous thunderstorms could be severe. Stay tuned to WHAG for all the very latest.
