YOUR4STATE - Good morning everyone! Showers and thunderstorms will be come more organized over the next few days as a cold front approaches the region. Showers will also be come more widespread. Hopefully we will all see a little rain before it is all said and done.
The major threat in these thunderstorms will be wind as well as heavy rainfall, which could cause visibility issues and the potential for localized flooding. A few storms could become strong to severe, especially Sunday into Monday.
As the front passes we have a little relief from the humidity, but by weeks end we will be dealing with temperatures approaching 90 degrees with partly cloudy skies.
