YOUR4STATE - Good morning everyone. It was another humid morning across the region, and that will continue for at least one more morning as a cold front passes Monday. Hopefully after the front passes, it will drop down the humidity for a few days at least. However our temperatures will stay around average to slightly above.
However this cold front will bring showers and thunderstorms Sunday into Monday, some of which will be severe with the potential of strong winds, hail, cloud to ground lightning, and the potential for localized flooding, as seen in a few thundershowers over the past few days.
There is a marginal to slight risk of severe weather on Sunday for the western half of the region, I-81 westward. This means we could see a few to several thunderstorms turn severe.
Sunday, however, most of the area is under a slight risk with an enhanced risk in the D.C.-Baltimore metroplex. This means several to numerous thunderstorms could be severe. Stay tuned to WHAG for all the very latest.
