A FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY is in effect until 11am and until 3pm for Southern Pennsylvania.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect for Garrett County until 10am.

TODAY: Morning snow, sleet and freezing rain will taper off before 11am. Expect a mainly cloudy afternoon with highs in the upper 30s to near 40.

TONIGHT: Showers arrive with lows steady in the upper 30s.

SATURDAY: A potent cold front moves in with a soaking rain all day. It will be much milder with a high in the mid to upper 50s! Expect around 3/4" to 1 1/2" of rain.

SUNDAY: The front departs leaving behind a gusty wind along with some snow showers in the mountains. High 45.

MONDAY: Partly sunny and still above average with highs in the upper 40s.

TUESDAY: A low pressure will work up the eastern seaboard bringing in warmer air with it. Look for a chance of rain with a high in the mid 40s.

WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny and colder with a high of 37.

THURSDAY: Mostly sunny and seasonably chilly. The high 37.
