TODAY: With high pressure offshore and an approaching front, we get a mild southerly wind bumping temperatures up into the low to mid 50s. Morning sun will give way to clouds by the afternoon. A shower is possible this evening in Western Maryland and the Potomac Highlands.

TONIGHT: Showers arrive with lows in the upper 30s to low 40s.

TUESDAY: Morning showers will give way to a drier afternoon with some late day sunny breaks. Around 1/4" of rain is expected. The high in the upper 40s to low 50s.

WEDNESDAY: We'll watch a fast moving clipper system through the Great Lakes bring the chance of a few flurries. Don't expect much in the way of accumulation with highs in the upper 30s.

THURSDAY: Mostly sunny with a high of 39.

FRIDAY: An upper level disturbance will swing through bringing the chance for snow showers. This will likely develop a low off the coast, but right now it looks like it will be too late for us to see any big snow. The high 37.

SATURDAY: Partly cloudy with a brisk wind. High 32 with wind chills in the 20s.

SUNDAY: Partly sunny and cold. Highs in the low 30s.

Enjoy your day! Alan
